On 28 February 2026, Israel, with the US, attacked the Supreme Leader’s office while they were having a meeting with high command officials. As a result of this attack, the Supreme Leader of Iran and several high officials were killed (shaheed).Therefore, Iran attacked U.S. bases in Gulf countries in self-defense, from where the attacks were being launched. These Gulf countries include Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
